Sarah Mann's fitness career began as a dancer. Sarah began dancing at a young age, continuing her education at Chapman University. Early on during her dance studies, Sarah suffered from chronic low back pain. She was introduced to Pilates during her time at Chapman as a way to decrease pain and increase her strength, stability, and range of motion. Through Pilates, she was able to eliminate her back pain, while also improving her skills as a dancer. After seeing the personal improvements within her own body, Sarah became certified as an instructor through Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) and began teaching Pilates in 2010.
As an instructor and mover, Sarah is always on the quest to further her knowledge of the body, striving to reach her personal goals, as well as to help her clients achieve theirs. Sarah is constantly working on expanding her knowledge of the body and the ways in which the body strives to maintain function and stability, especially during times of injury, pain, or periods of intense training and fatigue.
